WISE Network Makes Ghana Proud at S.H.E Awards Global

Women Intelligentsia For Service and Excellence (WISE) Network International Ghana Chapter has made Ghana proud as six of its members were honoured at the just-ended S.H.E Awards Global held in Dubai, UAE.

The six Ghanaian women and one Nigerian woman were honoured for their outstanding contributions to their communities.

The event is celebrated yearly in the special month of March, to commemorate the International Women’s month.

 

The MD of Shape Healthcare Ghana, Mrs Henrietta Sefogah took home the Woman of Excellence Business award for the great impact and service excellence in the Healthcare sector.

The President of Thyroid Ghana Foundation and Deputy Director University of Ghana Medical and Research Centre, Mrs Nana Adwoa Konadu Dsane and Barrister Izehi Anuge of Nigeria took home the Philanthropic Awards for the great work they are doing in their communities.

Barrister Izehi is the author of Captain Excellence and the MD of SHAPE a Child where she is shaping the value system of children and the youth. Whiles Mrs Konadu Dsane is creating awareness to help thyroid patients manage their conditions.

Elinam Horgli, MD of JK Horgli Transport picked an award under the achievers category.

Also, Madam Adeline Quarshie, CEO of Credence and Audrey Abakah, Head SME Banking, ABSA were both awarded in the financial sector under the achievers category for their impact in the financial sector and for supporting SMEs.

Dr Genevieve Duncan Obuobi was recognised as a VIP achiever honouree through her knowledge sharing and Capacity Building For Women In Business and the youth across the globe.

She was also officially appointed as the Ladies in Business Magazine Global Chair for Ghana.

The event also featured other great women across the globe contributing in various ways to make the world a better place, special mention to women from Liberia, Nigeria, USA UK, Philippines.

Speaking at the event, Amb Shola, founder and publisher of the Ladies in Business Magazine Global and the CEO of Shols events concepts, who Instituted this award six years said; “The S.H.E Awards celebrate women in business, leadership and corporate impacting their space and contributing to economic growth in communities and countries across the globe”
